  The Anne Report

The Anne Report

Dear Charles,

Hi Kiddos. It’s Anne, and I like to share a bit about my personal journey in this section. I call it the Anne Report because it’s a snapshot of my week. So, what’s up, Anne? We are still packing, but we have no idea whether we will go or not. We’ve, that’s my honey husband and I, sold a lot of furniture, and if we’re not going, there will be plenty of space in the house. I am still experiencing stellar outcomes from my favorite affirmation, “I have what I need when I need it.” It is as if the sea rises up to meet me when I’m in a boat that’s too heavy to carry. Am I naïve to believe in this ultimate goodness that seems to orchestrate our good? Maybe so, but this belief is what I need, as I flow with a river that seems to wind around itself. I may not be going anywhere, but I’m going with style and flare. That style and flare are the universal laws that make life better than it appears and that turns chaos into order and discontent into satisfaction. Not much to report this week. Until next week, make it easy.

The Lord’s Prayer

The word for God in Hebrew is actually a verb, not a noun. The Hebrew word, YHVH, is translated something like this: The Happening that’s Happening to all that’s Happening. YHVH is so big that one word can’t contain its meaning. It would be difficult to say, “The Happening that’s Happening to all that’s Happening,” every time we speak of the Infinite dynamism of Being, so we mostly say “God.” What gets lost in the translation is that God is a force, a movement, a law, a principle that is not to be made in the image of humans. God’s image, when imagined to be a man or entity similar to us, comes from an anthropomorphic take on God. Simply put, we turn God into a man. We are made in the image of God (YHVH), not the other way around. And, we cannot be separated from the Infinite movement of Being. If it’s moving, it’s God. It’s the God Force or the Happening that’s Happening to All That’s Happening that creates and recreates us in every movement. Scientists discovered that everything in form is made of small particles called atoms. Atoms are always on the move. Even a dead body has moving atoms. When we examine the atom, we find they are made up of smaller particles and a lot of space. We are essentially movement and space. Is there more?

Yes, there’s consciousness. It is tricky to find words to describe consciousness, but there are many parallels between consciousness and light. The word light appears 293 times in the King James Version of the Bible. Something’s up with that. The truth boggles our minds because we limit what the mind can do, and we use our mind to think in predictable ways. Those predictable ways can never grasp the infinitude of the Source. Most people just give up the need to know and call it a mystery. That’s probably helpful because what we can know of this power, this force, can’t be figured out; it is only revealed in the deep stillness - a place that the limited mind can’t go.

When I read the thoughts above to my husband, he said it was a heavy piece. Maybe so. I remember dating a guy who looked at me and said, “You are so deep.” I don’t think it was a compliment. It was more like, “Give it a rest.” All the above words mean is that we are much more than we believe ourselves to be, and we are a part of an infinite, intelligent, life force. Given that, my prayer life has shifted because my understanding of the One changes as I grow. Fortunately, I haven’t thrown out everything, and one of my favorite prayers is still, “Help.” The other prayers are silence, watching my breath, sounds, and mantras. This morning I found myself saying The Lord’s Prayer, but my mind changed each line. The prayer was more in line with my beliefs. Prayers are soul food and comfort food. They soothe worries and ease fears.

Here’s My Updated Version of the Lord’s Prayer. It is not a prayer of petition; rather, it is a prayer of affirmation.

Mother Father God that dwells in me as me, it is this essence that has anointed me with love and devotion. Your name and my name are the sacred same. The land of my Being is here and hallowed, and the principles of the cosmos permeate all realms of reality. I am thankful for the plentiful sustenance and for the compassion given to every action and mistake. I’m happy that we are guided safely through the fear and pain of our missteps and that we are delivered from the destructive influence of ego, for the kingdom is for all and the power and the glory resound in all life, as life. Amen.

Now, about the word, AMEN. Yes, I will be brief and not heavy. Amen was a minor God in Egypt, whose origin dates back to 3000 BCE. The story goes that when the Jews landed in Egypt, they picked up the use of the word amen, which also had come to be a word of reverence. Eventually the word became a salutation or exclamation, and it was adopted by Jews, and finally assimilated into Christianity and Islam. See, words really do make a difference (the name of one of my books, if you don’t know), and when we understand that, Life is EZier and EZier.

Join Anne’s Facebook Group

This group is a place to post uplifting affirmations and thoughts about prosperity and abundant living. Let’s create a right relationship with money so that we feel comfortable about money. Let’s use money as it’s meant to be used, and not as a way to accumulate power or to fill a void. We don’t need money to buy more stuff. We need it to create a world that works for everyone. We want to cast off old beliefs of lack and reclaim our natural state of abundance. Anne, AKA Dr. Money, posts a nightly goodnight video for the prosperity team, and everyone who watches those videos becomes a part of the prosperity team.

You too can join the Prosperity Team by watching Anne’s Dr. Money channel.
