The Anne Report
Dear ,
I have not decided whether I am going through a spiritual renewal or a nervous breakdown. Whatever it might be, this metal emotional state keeps me on my toes. I am delving into deeper levels of unresolved emotional matter. I remember my aunt talking about her issues when she was in her eighties. Looks like there may not be an expiration date on our inner shit. I am hanging on to my rope! I started my meditation out yesterday picturing myself healed and ended up doing shame work. Enlightenment certainly has it dips.
Thanks to everyone for the emails and cards. The injuries from the car accident are healing nicely. The only hangups are my fear of driving, fear of riding, and having dreams about being in automobile accidents. Yikes! Add PTSD to my other hang ups and you can see me and my rope.
While living in an RV might sound cool, it has its ups and downs. Living in 280 square feet reminds me of how much stuff we do not need. Neatly tucked into three ten by ten storage units lie our remains. It is the stuff that remains in waiting while we build our new home. Our new home is not a custom build. It is a pick out your plan, colors, and finishes endeavor. I knew the plan I wanted when I signed the contract, so picking the options, which really drives up the price, took little time.
And that is it for the Anne Report.
Main Article
The Great Separation
It takes a great deal of humility and courage to admit the disruptions within. We fool ourselves into believing that we are spiritually invincible, have great self-esteem, and that we are joyful, positive people. We may be cynical, but we label ourselves as good-hearted, well-intentioned, and know that we are in the know. We see life through the eyes of information, and our information is right and theirs is wrong. They are naïve, gullible, and uninformed. Not me or we! The favorite numbing tool of the day is not drugs, it’s information. We numb ourselves with information. We think information will protect us. As Dr. Phil might say, “How is that working for you?” What does sifting through endless articles and videos give us? If we ask, most people reply, “I don’t know what to believe. I am confused. I cannot trust anything. No one really knows.” On the other hand, being an information junkie brings hubris. “I know.” “I’m one of the few who know.” Knowing more has not brought wisdom and discernment; it’s spawned confusion and intellectual superiority vs. intellectual inferiority. This is the story of separation. We focus on our differences, not our similarities.
When I find myself looking at others through the lens of separation, I know there is something off in me, not in them. They may do heinous things, but when my central purpose is to point out the wrongs of others, then I can be sure I am emotionally stranded in a land of self-judgment, self-pity, and the feeling that I will never be enough. These motives are undercover, but when I delve into the depths of me, I see the truth.
There is a deep spiritual and psychic tear in our society. Though everyone talks about being positive, we collectively worship fear. Contemporary life is held together by its toenails. We have amber alerts, orange, yellow, and red alerts in the airport, pollution reports, crime reports, reports of environmental disasters, stock reports, and COVID-19 pandemic updates. Fear is the organizing principle of contemporary living. It sells makeup to those who want to look pretty or young, Viagra to those who want to be virile, and missiles to those who want to dominate. The list goes on. Fear gives our world a purpose. It is a potent advertising and marketing tool. (Know that I am talking about made up fear or fear from the emotional triggers in our primal brains, not the fear of our plane crashing when the plane is headed toward the ground.)
Is there a way out of this dilemma? Maybe the way is in, not out. One only has to listen to people like the Dali Lama or read the words of John of the Cross to know that there is something that corrects the influence of the outside world, and that something moves us into a place of safety. It is a world of inclusion, not of exclusion. It is the world of transformation, not information.
Though we will never be the Dali Lama or John of the Cross, and we don’t want to be them, we want to be us, we can gain courage from them to do the work it takes to find out who we are and how best we can coexist with the limits and the possibilities within ourselves.
Four beliefs lead us toward the unveiling of the authentic connected self:
-
I am here. If we are not validated in infancy, we feel invisible. We need the gaze of a loved one. A baby can focus on its caregivers’ eyes by the time it is two weeks old. If there is no gazing into another’s eyes, we miss the opportunity to experience our existence. Can it be corrected? Yes. Mirror work is effective because we can look directly into our eyes and say, “I’m here.” The more we look deeply into our eyes, via a mirror, the more we move into our bodies and into the world. If we can get another to look into our eyes and say “I love you” repeatedly, it’s an added bonus!
-
I have the right to exist. If we are always trying to be productive and earn our space on earth, then we probably do not believe we have the right to exist. This is a matter of self-worth. Affirmations can restore self-worth. “I have the right to exist.” “I am valuable because of who I am, not because of what I do.” “I am worthy.” While I won’t go into detail here, it’s essential we deal with our shame. Shame is passed down from generation to generation. Check out this great video: Listening to shame | Brené Brown.
-
It is safe to be here. Handed down beliefs and personal experiences render us helpless and afraid of the here and now. We stay out of our bodies and we are afraid of the world in general. When we learn that the body is a safe and pleasurable place to be and that there are safe places for us to be in our world, we can construct a life of dignity and passion. Rebirthing is a great way to experience our safety, in our bodies and in society.
-
Who I am, is safe. As strange as this may sound, we are often programmed to believe that our existence and our aliveness hurt others. We think we burden them, drive them crazy, or unintentionally hurt their feelings. “I am too much for others to handle.” We must learn that who we are could never harm others. Our actions might hurt others, but who we are is pristine. We are our sacred selves. We must identify with ourselves as a gift to life and others, not as a burden and one who hurts others. We are not bad; we are wired with personal and collective beliefs that we are bad. “I am innocent.” When I first heard these words, everything in me saluted. It was as if a life sentence was lifted. When I start feeling like a burden, I think to myself, “I am a gift to others.”
The above provides suggestions for dealing with the basic pitfalls of living in a body, during the age of separation. The path we take leads away from ourselves or toward ourselves. When we connect with ourselves, we gravitate toward people of like mind. We find our safe people. We live more in the present moment and we do not numb our bodies, or at least not as much! We are one people, and when we ignite the inner fire, we find that Everything is EZ or at Least EZier.

Abundance Affirmations
This group is a place to post uplifting affirmations and thoughts about prosperity and abundant living. Let’s create a right relationship with money so that we feel comfortable about money. Let’s use money as it’s meant to be used, and not as a way to accumulate power or to fill a void. We don’t need money to buy more stuff. We need it to create a world that works for everyone. We want to cast off old beliefs of lack and reclaim our natural state of abundance. Anne, AKA Dr. Money, posts a nightly goodnight video for the prosperity team, and everyone who watches those videos becomes a part of the prosperity team.
You too can join the Prosperity Team by watching Anne’s Dr. Money channel.
