The Anne Report
Dear ,
It is getting down to the wire. Thursday is the day for surgery. I am so grateful for all the well wishes, support, and prayers sent my way. Maybe I am naïve, but I expect this to be quick and relatively easy, with a fast recovery. My daughter got the flu last year. It was the bad kind. The doctor’s office called to confirm. We talked after the diagnosis and she said, “Honestly, mom, I sort of feel guilty. I don’t feel that bad.” That is how I want to be. I want to be able to say, “It was a nonevent.”
Wayne Dyer was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia in 2009. When he was asked about it, he said, “This will be interesting. I’m not giving into this.” When he passed away in 2015, from a heart attack, there was no sign of leukemia.” I love stories like this, and I have been feeding them to my mind, in preparation for the out of the box healing miracles I am expecting. I am taking my angels with me, wrapping myself in prayers, and heading into my miracle!
Our new home is coming along. We like to visit on Sunday mornings because there is no construction going on. The sheetrock is in and the trim and cabinets will be delivered this week. We are getting excited and cannot wait to move in. I have never had a separate laundry room or a walk-in pantry. Yeah.
I appreciate the newsletter donations that have come in since my diagnosis. They tell me two things: someone reads the newsletter and that you care. I feel like I have been honored when I get a donation. Thank you so much. And that’s it for the Anne Report.
Main Article
EZosophy Philosophy
I used to suffer about everything. No kidding. Maybe I thought I was a victim, maybe I thought it was a badge of courage, or maybe I just followed everyone else. Everyone seemed to suffer. Some people tried to be strong and suffer silently while others just fell apart at the fall of that recurring perpetual drop of a hat. I am not talking about how people reacted to the heartbreaking realities of life; I am talking about how people reacted to basic living. Years ago I had a spiritual awakening that caused me to examine my reasons for suffering and worrying. That is when I developed the EZosophy Philosophy. EZosophy is a philosophy that asks us to examine ego driven suffering. EZosophy invites us to drop useless suffering and encourages us to seek comfort and relief for the actual difficulties in our lives.
Ego driven suffering (EDS) is a complex system held together by unspoken rules and reactive behavior. Several patterns emerge as we examine the cornerstones of a popular, but unrecognized, set of behaviors in western culture.
-
Glorifying Ego Driven Suffering – The Bible offered solace to people who were heart-broken and hopeless. They faced plagues, floods, and droughts. Most lacked a formal education and religion practically told them if they suffered on earth, they would be rewarded in heaven. These people had a lot to suffer about. Life was difficult. Unfortunately, though many of the reasons they suffered no longer exist in the western world, the culture of suffering was still passed along. The decision made by our culture was, “If we suffer, we are good.” It seemed as if suffering was God-ordained and only derelicts, hedonists, or slackers had easy lives. People started suffering about things that did not matter, like taking out the trash or cleaning the house.
-
Glorifying Exhaustion – Everyone seems exhausted these days. We suffer from true emotional exhaustion due to the limitations placed on us during a pandemic, but, pandemic aside, people create inner scenarios that spawn fatigue. Sometimes, when we are tired, we need rest, but often a change of mind brings bursts of energy. I used to think that driving for several hours was exhausting, and it has its downside as I age, but years ago I heard someone mention how much he enjoyed the solitude of long drives. His outlook changed the way I looked at travel, and, for many years, I was excited, if not thrilled, to take a road trip alone.
-
Filling Our Minds with What Ifs – What ifs are imaginary enemies that define our expectations of the future. While it may be possible to offer positive what ifs, most people chose to catastrophize. We imagine the worst-case scenarios, then live under the self-appointed tyranny of our beliefs. We suffer from fits of emotionally induced amnesia. We forget that we made up our suffering. Our what ifs provide that addictive chemical fix we thrive on. Want to feel alive? Then we can scare the bejeebers out of ourselves and drink in that familiar, wake me up, adrenaline rush.
-
If it Weren’t for You (IWFY – This game is named by Eric Berne in his groundbreaking book, Games People Play) – There may be some cases of real abuse, when someone stands in the way of someone living a choice-filled life, but I’m assuming this is not you or me. In general, IWFY is a great way to scapegoat others. It says someone else is to blame for my not taking action and that I am a victim. When I was first married, my ex-husband kept me from doing many things. When we divorced, I was so happy I could do all the things I had not been able to do. Big surprise. I did not do them. I realized that he was my excuse for playing small. He was my protection. I wanted to be a weeping willow. I hid behind him. Poor guy; I did not realize what I was doing at the time.
Though I wish I had outgrown the ego’s antics, the ones mentioned above, I have not. I watch my behaviors and thoughts because it is easy to slip into familiar patterns, especially when I am under stress. I do not have to be perfect and have it all together all the time, but I can be on the lookout for the signs of a Hard Attack, and, in that recognition, I see a choice. The ego’s mantra is “Life is hard, you must suffer about it, and it will never change.” This is one of the most common beliefs in our society. While life is hard, it is not hard all the time. When we genuinely want more ease and less drama, we tend to get honest with ourselves. We do not just hope for change, we manifest it. When we get off our high horse, that sets us above others, and our shrinking violet act, that says we suck, we take a miraculous step toward EZier living. Let us move from ego’s drama to the EZosophy mantra, “Everything can be EZ or at least EZier,” because when we do, we claim our power and authority to live an EZier life.

Abundance Affirmations
This group is a place to post uplifting affirmations and thoughts about prosperity and abundant living. Let’s create a right relationship with money so that we feel comfortable about money. Let’s use money as it’s meant to be used, and not as a way to accumulate power or to fill a void. We don’t need money to buy more stuff. We need it to create a world that works for everyone. We want to cast off old beliefs of lack and reclaim our natural state of abundance. Anne, AKA Dr. Money, posts a nightly goodnight video for the prosperity team, and everyone who watches those videos becomes a part of the prosperity team.
