  The Anne Report

The Anne Report

Dear ,

Things must be getting back to somewhat normal. I accepted a new project to edit or maybe even write another book. I say maybe even write a book because the first project I took on required me to write a book. For that project, I received notes on events rather than a manuscript that needed tweaking. Though it was not what I bargained for, it was empowering to find I could write a book about someone’s life, complete with dialogue, in less than two weeks. So far, everyone loves the book, and it is getting great reviews. When I wrote that first book, strange things happened. I felt as if I joined with my client at some psychic level and found myself thinking as if I were she. It was a mind meld. I entered an almost trance like state when I wrote. The words tumbled out. Now I'm looking forward to writing and/or editing the next book.

Another great thing about the new writing contract is that I recently received an unexpected tax bill. Not to be dramatic about the bill, I decided that I was always provided for. I just let it go. Though I had the money to pay the tax bill, I preferred to use my money to improve the house. I would like to screen in our back porch and build a fence. I turned in a bid on the book for the same amount as the taxes. It was accepted. My motto, as Dr. Money, is, “I have what I need when I need it.” This project came out of the blue. I told my friend that I did not want any projects until the new year, but when she thought about who she wanted to handle this project, she said I popped into her mind. She called me anyway, despite my telling her I was not ready to write another book yet. Perfect timing.

The unified field of consciousness theory challenges the idea that a person’s individual consciousness is separate unto itself. The same field that provides what I need when I need it, contains everything at once, in a timeless, placeless interconnection.

Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I have so much to be thankful for. Giving thanks for what we have, keeps the focus off what we do not have, which is a much better place to be than one of longing. And that’s it for the Anne Report.

Waking Up

You are reading this because you are following a particular flow of energy. I am led to write this, in this particular moment, because I am following a flow of energy. In this encounter we meet, and if we pay attention to this opportunity, there is an opening for waking up. It’s not that what I write and what you read is the crucible, the impetus for unbridled freedom. It is that in each moment, each encounter, there is an invitation for endless freedom. It exists whether we read the Bhagavad Gita or a murder mystery. There is always that ultimate call to self. Though each moment may be fractured and battered by our conditioning, the eternal now continues to harbor an invitation to wake up, to see who we are, and to be who we are. Unfortunately, we love our professional role as seekers, but, at some point, we might reach the end game, that of finding.

I admit, when I reached the end game of finding, it was not only peaceful and freeing, it was disconcerting. Everything I learned up to that point became irrelevant. The way I structured my time was no longer pertinent because it was structured so I could grow, so I can improve my understanding of life‘s mysteries. I was happy that I had not gained fame and fortune at that point because I would be stuck in teaching the principles and ideas that now seemed superfluous. I was ashamed because I was good at defining and teaching how to navigate the world of finding, but I did not know how to teach others how to not learn. I was a teacher, not one to say, “Stop learning. Stop seeking. Be still.”

It took a number of years to integrate the experience and to know how to talk to people, given my reality was far removed from the world’s common perception of living. Everyone I knew was a seeker, an improver. (Okay, I made that word up. I do that a lot. Do not tell Webster). Eventually I was able to fit in. I closed my spiritual center and set off on a new adventure. I first spoke on the importance of being radically present and waking up in the now and a few people got it, but people hungered for tips to make life more presentable; they wanted to improve life as they knew it. Waking up was more of a threat, than a welcomed experience. In the end, it worked out well, because I was pretty good at giving tips on how to make misery a bit more comfortable. I looked to other teachers I admired and saw them doing the same. Then I got it, and, as Ram Dass would say, “It is all grist for the mill of awakening.” There is no spot higher or lower, no teaching more relevant than another. Everything is as it should be; perfect. And knowing that, we are then free to live in a flow and do life as we want to. We can seek; it is very entertaining, or we can find, or we can do both. I love to study and read. When I first awakened, it seemed immaterial, but as time went on, I could see the value. Just as we might like to read a mystery novel, knowing it is fiction, we can study and read things that make life more interesting.

Take synchronicity. I read stories of meaningful coincidences and stand in awe when they happen to and for me. Yet since I know of the ultimate connectivity of life, synchronicity should almost be ho hum, but it is not. I do not want to live in a world where the wondrous is made mundane. I prefer to make the mundane wondrous. If you have read this so far and followed what I’m saying, I suspect we are on the same page, both literally and figuratively, and, at this point, we should just hold hands and sing Kumbaya. Life is a limiting and an expansive journey of seeking and finding, contracting and expanding. It is leela.* There is nothing to do to earn a better spot to be who we are, but we can do it anyway. There is no wrong way. There may be consequences, but each action, activity, and even thought is a part of an ongoing, diverse symphony called life. We free ourselves when we stop longing, yearning, and striving, but it is not necessary, because everything is always as it should be. No pressure; full pleasure; that is life. Knowing that the supreme Okayness permeates all existence, that it is ultimate, and that it is us, is enough. Everything after that is entertainment.

*Leela - The exploration of consciousness. The playful relationship between the absolute and the manifest universe.

This group is a place to post uplifting affirmations and thoughts about prosperity and abundant living. Let’s create a right relationship with money so that we feel comfortable about money. Let’s use money as it’s meant to be used, and not as a way to accumulate power or to fill a void. We don’t need money to buy more stuff. We need it to create a world that works for everyone. We want to cast off old beliefs of lack and reclaim our natural state of abundance. Anne, AKA Dr. Money, posts a nightly goodnight video for the prosperity team, and everyone who watches those videos becomes a part of the prosperity team.
