  The Anne Report

Synchronicity Reigns Supreme

Dear ,

I return this afternoon from the Theosophical Society's national summer convention. It's been an amazing few days and I've met lifelong friends that I may never see again, but I am sure that they are soulmates. We've talked about the shadow and the light, supported each other's dreams, and had fun. I made my annual appearance at fun night. My act featured a pig angel and a theme-based silly song.

My sciatic nerve landed me in hip hell and I went to a retired acupuncturist's who spent two hours giving me relief. His wife threw in some massage and I walked out feeling much better, but the gift they gave was of themselves. I have not felt so valued and precious in a long time. They are what I call the hands and feet of God. My new best friend, my roommate, who has innumerable physical challenges, said, "Life is wonderful if you don't weaken." So as long as I can stand, I'm in the game. I just hope my body doesn't wind down before I do, because I have miles to go before I sleep.

Turns out my roommate was a woman I met at the Parliament of the World's Religions meeting in 2016 in Salt Lake City. We didn't figure this out until half way through the conference, but we were dumbstruck with the realization. Synchronicity reigns as I continue to walk the road less travelled, and that's it for the Anne Report.

A Letter From God

I once read an adventure story in which the hero received a letter written by a mentor. He was to open the letter when he felt confused or needed direction or inspiration. What a great idea. Suppose God wrote a letter for me to read when I was down. I decided to write a letter from God to inspire people who were at low points. I made copies, placed each one in a red envelope, and sent them to friends and family members. I told them not to open them until they were in great need.

The results were phenomenal. One of my friends said that the letter had greatly impacted her life. I asked at what point she had chosen to read it and she replied that she had not read it yet. "Just knowing that I have the letter is comforting. Every time I have a problem and think of the letter, I feel better. I think that this problem is not so bad that I need the letter. I will save it for when I am in greater need." Other friends opened them when in distress and found much comfort. My daughter didn't even wait; she just opened the letter and put it on her refrigerator. Some friends sent copies to their friends. Regardless of whether you are in a crisis or in a great place at this time, this letter is for you.

Precious One, I am with you. Resist the temptation to think that any condition in the outer world can rival my plans for your higher good. Even this thing you face now has no power to destroy your inner reality. It is here you dwell, here I dwell. We are one in the innermost regions of thought and feeling. You were created from an indestructible good that can never be altered, destroyed, or harmed. I am your sword and your shield. I protect you from all the lethal thoughts that drag you down and follow you from moment to moment. Ask not that I be with you during this time of need, but steadfastly affirm and give thanks that I am with you and that my power through you gives you strength, courage, and calmness.

I have prepared the way for your good. Receive you now the Holy Spirit and know that as you read these words, I am with you. My faith in you shall make you whole and this burden shall be lifted.

With Great Love to You,

   I Am Unconditional Love*

I wrote Offbeat Prayers more than 30 years ago. While I might not use the same words as I used then, I am sure that having words of comfort during times of great distress, makes a difference. I am in a Master Mind group. During our meeting, we each state our desires. Then each person supports the supplicant with encouraging words, affirming that our needs and desires have already been met. The words of vision uttered by these women are like poetry of the heart. They are word blessings.

We have wonderful inner resources, yet when we are stressed or venturing out in unfamiliar areas of our lives, support from others provides a bridge that moves us over the troubled waters. Try sending a letter of support to a friend or friends for use when they are down. It doesn't have to be a letter from God; use your own words of encouragement or feel free to use my letter. Word blessings are wonderful gifts. We are the hands and feet of God, and, in this case, maybe the voice of God. Supporting others is not only fun, it makes our lives EZier and EZier. Let's be a part of a revolution to make our lives and others' lives brighter, blessed, and bountiful.

"Some people use affirmations to reprogram the mind. Certainly we have reams of questionable material in our subconscious mind, but I prefer to think of the affirmations in the book as commands for more compassionate living, openings to greater possibilities, and templates for a brave new world." Planning for Prosperity To Do List

In general, we don't want money; we want love. We want safety. We want protection from some unseen event. We want food. We want companionship, but if we can't pay our bills, we want money. Everyone knows the expression, living from hand to mouth. It's no way to live and, for many, there is a way out, yet I readily admit, that may not be true for everyone. A 10-year-old whose parents have sold her into slavery doesn't have a choice, but most of us are in situations that can be changed. Our lives can take on meaning and we can learn to trust those who are trustworthy. We can open to more abundant living. We can have more peace and we can have enough money. It's a relief to know that we are not victims of circumstance. There's always a way out.

When I start suffering from lack, it's time to plan for prosperity.

Here's a Planning for Prosperity To Do List:

  • I will accept all money offered, including gifts and someone buying lunch for me, unless the money or gift comes with conditions.
  • I will speak words of kindness. I feel innocent when I'm nice to people, and it's easier to attract good circumstances when I feel good about myself.  Being unkind to others makes me feel guilty, even if it's at a subconscious level. When I feel guilty, I set myself up for self-punishment.
  • I will breathe deeply throughout the day, sit straight, and hold my shoulders back. Breathing and opening my body puts me in receiving mode.
  • I will be aware of lack thoughts and situations, and make a conscious effort to change the thoughts to prosperity thoughts and affirmations.
  • I will use a qualifier phrase for thoughts I don't believe. For example: Even though I don't believe that more and more money is coming my way, I'm willing to think it might be possible for me to have positive financial karma.
  • I will picture money coming my way for five minutes each day. I will envision cash, checks, PayPal payments, or financial assistance coming to me.
  • I will be grateful for any amount money I receive, large or small.
  • I will keep a prosperity dairy of all the money, good events, and wonderful surprises I receive.
  • I will remember that no person, set of circumstances, or events can stand in the way of my good, period!

This group is a place to post uplifting affirmations and thoughts about prosperity and abundant living. Let's create a right relationship with money so that we feel comfortable about money. Let's use money as it's meant to be used, and not as a way to accumulate power or to fill a void. We don't need money to buy more stuff. We need it to create a world that works for everyone. We want to cast off old beliefs of lack and reclaim our natural state of abundance.
