The Anne Report
Dear ,
Did you know you can write a book in two weeks? That was a rhetorical question. It meant: I wrote a book in two weeks! If you read last week’s Anne Report, you will know I was ghost writing a book. That means I wrote a book for someone else. No actual ghosts were seen. The book will bear someone else’s name as author and then they can happily enter the wild, wild world of marketing. Yes. Two weeks. It took sitting at my computer about five hours a day for 11 days.
Have you ever heard the expression that it takes 20% of our time to get 80% of our work done? That may not be true for everyone, but I think it’s true for me. I spend a lot of time fiddling. That’s why I’ve developed so many mind games that keep me settled on my work. One of my favorite games is the five-minute game. I set my alarm for five minutes and tackle the task at hand for five minutes. I set the clock again for another task, continue with the same task, or call it quits. That way, with only five minutes at stake, I never feel taxed by a commitment. And that’s it for the Anne Report, which took five minutes of my time.

Finding the World of the Wondrous
As children, we were full of wonder. We bounced between fantasy and reality with ease. We grew up and faced the adult world with expectations of success and happy times. Everyone told us we could do anything, but their metacommunication was different. As we grew from tots to teens, we trained in emotional guidelines that were provided, with no harm intended, by our parents.
The guidelines were unspoken, but none-the-less potent. There were guidelines about everything. Guidelines on anger, fear, sadness, happiness, optimism, and attitude. When we left home to start our adult lives, we searched for what we were trained to look for. Maybe we searched for success, or recognition, but the first steps of adulthood were governed by powerful rules that we didn’t know existed. Let’s say our parents primed us for success and we are successful. The problem with our success is the emptiness. We may not feel it right away, but at some point, we wake up and question what our lives are about. Why the emptiness? We wonder what’s wrong. After all, we got what we wanted. We struggle because the success was not our choice. We lived life by a template, given to us by others, that provided a cookie-cutter existence.
Suppose our parents primed us for failure. Then, with the help of a therapist, we figure out how we ended up in the ditch of expectations. We look at people whose parents pushed them toward success with envy. “What would have happened if I had been pushed a little. I could have been great.” The probable outcome: we would have ended up successful and empty. Because we were driven by a choice that we never made.
When we live by others’ choices, there is no freedom or choice. Unbeknownst to us, we were molded by our indoctrination, whether it be our parents’, our churches’, or our society’s. Everything we learned focused on success or failure. We didn’t learn what was valuable, nor what we valued.
P. D. Ouspensky, a Russian esotericist, in his book Tertium Organum, speaks of a fourth dimension he calls the “World of the Wondrous.” He figured out mathematically that there is a world where everything is perfect. If this is true, then what gives us access to this world? Jesus said, “You must be like a little child to enter the kingdom.” This kingdom is the World of the Wondrous, and Jesus says our entry comes when we are childlike. And he said, “Seek ye first the kingdom and all else will be added unto you.” It may be more informative when we say, “Seek ye the world of wonder, of magic, of miracle, and all else will be added unto you.”
The world of intellect, philosophy, science, and psychology offers much, but they are the clothing of life, not life itself. Why has positive thinking (PT) been such a hit in modern culture? Because it brings wonder and enthusiastic expectancy back into our lives. This is not the grin and bear it kind of PT; it is the kind that leads us to the World of the Wondrous. It is the kind of PT that lifts us up and delivers us as changed people, free from the templates of the past.
What does this have to do with getting rid of useless emotional guidelines? We don’t have to fix anything, because we can enter a new dimension at any time. “The kingdom is at hand.” The seriousness we were sold as respectability is a robber. It robs us of the delight of the wondrous. The wondrous may be in another dimension, but it is one that is reachable through a change of thought, a change of mood, and a change of emotion. If we are to slip the surly bonds, we need only to turn to the wondrous. When we excavate our souls, and prime the pump of expectancy, we find that they are filled with a delight, and with this delight we activate a new dimension of living, and when we do, everything is EZier and EZier.

Abundance Affirmations
This group is a place to post uplifting affirmations and thoughts about prosperity and abundant living. Let’s create a right relationship with money so that we feel comfortable about money. Let’s use money as it’s meant to be used, and not as a way to accumulate power or to fill a void. We don’t need money to buy more stuff. We need it to create a world that works for everyone. We want to cast off old beliefs of lack and reclaim our natural state of abundance. Anne, AKA Dr. Money, posts a nightly goodnight video for the prosperity team, and everyone who watches those videos becomes a part of the prosperity team.
You too can join the Prosperity Team by watching Anne’s Dr. Money channel.
